I started experimenting with 3D art a couple years back. I really wanted to build, but when I was growing up my brothers (I have 5 of them) got to use the woodworking tools. I learned to sew a good deal, so I build with fabric. My first piece, seen here, ended up a bit larger than I orginally had intended, but I figured that was okay, the piece wouldn't be overlooked. My husband Rich helps build the frames for some of these pieces. My newest pieces are the "mountain-scapes", inspired by our trip to Alaska. We saw LOTS of mountains and pointy black spruce. |
