Newest Sculpture
Here are some photos of my newest sculpture, "Barry's Ship", a Christmas gift for my brother, Barry, a noted rustic furniture artist. I fashioned the form from manzanita branches and burl donated by rustic funiture maker, Morris, who also has a studio in the Shirt Factory. Then I created a two-sided quilted sail for the ship. One side has a flying geese motif that represents my brother, Lance, who died this past fall in a tragic accident at his work site in Lake George. You can learn more of my two brothers by checking the links from my website.
